Tesla's Yunnan-Tibet line super charging station is fully completed
A few days ago, Tesla has officially completed the opening of the Yunnan-Tibet line super charging line that runs across the Ancient Tea Horse Road from Kunming, Yunnan to Dingri County, Tibet.
Tesla’s Yunnan-Tibet super charging line starts from Kunming, Yunnan, where spring is all year round. It passes through Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, and Meili and then enters Tibet. A focal point of Lhasa, and then continue to run west, passing through Shigatse, to Tingri County at the foot of the Himalayas, the whole journey is nearly 2,800 km, there are a total of 14 super charging stations, equipped with 27 V3 super charging piles and 18 V2 super charging piles. 1 destination charging station, 2 destination charging piles.
Tesla's Yunnan-Tibet super charging line not only needs to climb over steep snow-capped mountains, but also across tough gorge rock, and along the way, the air is thin and the climate is severely cold. It is a dangerous, strange and beautiful passage into Tibet. Tesla’s location for the Yunan-Tibet Supercharger station is mainly based on popular hotels that car owners must travel through, such as the fully-serviced Hilton Hotel in Dali and Songtsampo Milinka Hotel.
Tesla has been committed to creating a more complete and convenient overcharge network. Up to now, Tesla has built and opened 40+ super charging stations and 190+ super charging piles in Yunnan and Tibet alone, with 40+ destination charging stations and 90+ destination charging piles, covering 20+ beautiful cities.
